The Owl House Recap, Episode 8

American animation loves the body swap episode, also known as the Freaky Friday flip. From Teen Titans to American Dragon Jake Long, we often see a case where magic or science fiction forces to opposite characters to live out another life. It can lead to a lot of comedy, and fun voice acting in some cases. We can also get some nice epiphanies about the characters and who they are.

“No one has an easy life” is the theme of this episode. We get to see where even King, who does have a sweet life as Eda’s roommate, has his drawbacks as a cute fallen demon. I’m not a fan of body…
