Pinocchio (1940) Is Not About Wishes

“Anything your heart desires will come to you.”

Pinocchio is one of those weird ducks in the Disney Animated Canon. The animation is gorgeous, and the music stays with you. I also believe that it is the scariest movie, owing to the sheer amount of horrifying imagery with the antagonists, as well as showing drowning onscreen, which is one of my worst fears.
